What impact will NIS2 have
NIS2 is an update of the European NIS1 Directive.
It applies to 17 times more companies than the original decree.
It will bring changes that consist mainly of the statutory obligation to systematically manage cyber security.
In our experience, these changes will represent an increase in the cyber security budget to at least 5%*, as well as time and human investment. Are you ready for it?

The NIS2 Directive is being implemented into Czech law through a new Act on Cybersecurity.
The draft law passed its third reading on Friday, April 25, 2025.
The effective date will no longer be fixed; instead, the law will come into force “on the first day of the third month following its publication.” If everything proceeds smoothly, we expect it to take effect around October/November 2025.
