Which personal data do we process and why?


Sometime we might request personal data of you so that we are able to provide you with relevant information, respond to your requests, and improve the content of our website. Personal data are understood to be any data which could be used to identify a particular person. The following are among the personal data which we process about you:
•    first name and surname;
•    e-mail address;
•    telephone number;
•    analytical data about browsing the thein.eu website.

Thein Investments s.r.o. Processes data about subjects for the following purposes:


•    so that we are able to contact you - name, address, e-mail, or telephone contact may be processed in the course of communication with you;
•    so that we are able to properly create further content - information might be processed in order to create relevant web content and ensure clear navigation of the website. Such information includes data about browsing pages or data provided in forms;
•    so that we are able to respond to user questionnaires and requests for information - such data include registration when downloading content, information bulletins, and specific requests for further information;
•    so that we are better able to reply to your questions - Thein Investments will pass contact details on to representatives of the company so that they are able to prepare information relating to your request.
If you fill in our online form and voluntarily give consent, we will take the liberty of sending you commercial communications about the range of services we can offer and containing information about our products so that we are always able to offer you the latest and best technical solutions. We will process your personal data for the purposes of marketing activities and sending our commercial communications.

All of the personal data mentioned above, arising as a result of communication and interaction between us, are controlled by an in-house system of personal data protection according to valid legislation. We therefore manage access to personal data, technical measures to secure them, and the duration of their existence to the maximum possible extent.

The period of time for which we process your personal data


We process and retain personal data for the period of time that is absolutely required to achieve the purpose of their processing, and thereafter for the period of time for which we are under obligation to retain data according to generally binding legal regulations.
We process the personal data which we obtain based on your voluntary consent until such time as you withdraw that consent, after which we provably erase your personal data, unless retaining those data is absolutely essential to ensure that we fulfil our statutory obligations.

Your rights


You have the natural right to receive information about the data which we process about you. In the same way, you have the right of rectification or the right to block inaccurate or out-of-date data, the right of restriction of processing, and the right to lodge an objection to processing. In certain cases, you also have the right of erasure. Furthermore, we are under obligation to transfer your personal data to the personal data controller/processor of your choice at your request.
If you have given us consent to process your personal data with a view to sending out commercial communications or addressing you with a potential offer of work, you have the right to withdraw such consent at any time. Simply contact us at info@thein.eu.

If you believe that we are not handling your data in an adequate way and in line with legal standards, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (Office for Personal Data Protection).            

The voluntary nature of giving consent


Giving consent to personal data processing is entirely voluntary, in that no other performance on the part of Thein Investments s.r.o. is conditional on you giving such consent.

The transfer of personal data

We use all the personal data which we obtain solely for the internal needs of the company. We protect them from misuse and do not provide them to third parties without prior notification or consent.
The exception to this rule is the transfer of data to outside companies that provide us with support services and to state authorities. We may, or must, provide such entities with your personal data to a minimum extent, for example in the case of:
•    an investigation of the unlawful use of our services or for the needs of judicial proceedings, when your data may be transferred to law enforcement bodies;

We contractually demand that all such providers of services (not, however, public authorities) process your personal data in accordance with the terms and conditions of personal data protection and with the valid legislation.

We have, through internal regulations, taken all appropriate measures to ensure the corresponding level of security when processing personal data such that we are able to ensure the ongoing confidentiality, availability and resilience of processing systems and services and so that the availability of personal data may be restored, where appropriate.
In the event of an inadvertent personal data breach in relation to your personal data, we will take appropriate measures, without delay, to arrange a remedy and will report the breach to the Office for Personal Data Protection, and to you, unless it is unlikely that such a breach would pose a threat to your rights as the data subject. At the same time, every breach of security will be appropriately documented, so as to facilitate possible inspection by the Office for Personal Data Protection.
